Bradley Diner, M.D.

After graduation from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Diner completed his psychiatric residency in 1989 at Vanderbilt University where he served as Chief Resident.

His area of practice includes inpatient and outpatient adolescent and adult psychiatry with emphasis on mood and anxiety disorders and involvement in clinical research trials. He further specializes in forensic psychiatry, in which he is frequently requested to provide independent evaluations, expert witness testimony and evaluation of impaired medical professionals.

Leigh Anne Bennett, M.D.

Dr. Bennett received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000 and completed her psychiatry residency training in 2004.

She is a Board Certified psychiatrist and is currently a partner of Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic and medical director for Health Resources of Arkansas, a community mental health clinic.

Roger Amick, M.D.

Dr. Amick graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 1974. He finished his training in psychiatry in 1986 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas.

 

Dr. Amick is certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is medical director of the Dual Diagnosis Unit at the Bridgeway Hospital where he has practiced since 1992. HIs practice is limited to adults.

 

   

Robert M. Jarvis, M.D.

Dr. Jarvis received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and complete his psychiatry residency at UAMS, serving as chief resident his last year there. He earned his B.A. degree in psychology and music from Trinity University at San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Jarvis’ interests are in mood disorders, including major depression and bipolar disorder, and he specializes in management of treatment resistant and treatment refractory depression.

William Jeffrey Palmer, M.D.

Dr. Palmer completed his undergraduate education at St. Louis University with a degree in psychology and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship.

After completing his training in June 2007, he joined the Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic.

James O. Davis IV, M.D.

Dr. Davis is a graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in June 2004 and completed his psychiatric residency in 2008 at UAMS.

Dr. Davis started his private practice in July 2008 with Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic and currently has admitting privileges with Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. His private practice includes adult 18 years and older.

Paul Loop, M.D.

 

Dr. Loop received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in June 1993 and completed his psychiatric residency in 1997 from The Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry in Topeka Kansas.

After several years of private practice, Dr. Loop worked extensively with Veterans through The Veteran’s Administration Hospital System in Missouri and North Dakota. He has extensive experience with geriatrics, veterans, personality disorders and addiction treatment.

Dr. Loop is currently the Medical Director for the Dallas County Medical Center, outpatient behavioral health program in Fordyce, Arkansas. He also serves as a consultant Psychiatrist at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Lisabeth Hoffman, MSN, APN

After moving to Arkansas in 1993, Lis returned to school. She completed her BSN in 1995 and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1997 with a master's degree in nursing, focusing on psychiatric nursing and nursing education. Post graduation she was supervised by a psychiatrist for 1300 hours in preparation for the certification exam. 

Lis is Board Certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and was granted Prescriptive Authority by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing in 2000. 

 Her practice includes Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic, a community mental health clinic, occasional inpatient coverage at Baptist Health Medical Center and Bridgeway, along with consultation at several area nursing homes.

Common Questions

Does APC provide what may be called preventative service, such as marriage counseling?

The Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic staff provides a variety of services at all levels, to include family and marriage counseling. But unfortunately, most insurances do not cover some aspects of preventative care.
