Akilah S. and Dominque R. at the front desk are wonderful. They are kind, patient, compassionate, and willing to help, even when patients are frustrated, anxious, or overwhelmed. Mental healthcare can be difficult and vulnerable, so the way patients are treated matters. A gentle tone, a reassuring word, and basic dignity can make a meaningful difference. These two understand that, and I sincerely appreciate them.

I also cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Bowling. She listens carefully, evaluates concerns thoughtfully, and works collaboratively with me to find appropriate solutions. Medication management feels like a conversation rather than a one-sided decision. She makes me feel heard, respected, and involved in my treatment. Her approach reflects sound clinical judgment, evidence-based care, and genuine compassion.

I did have one negative experience with clinic management regarding an outstanding balance during a very difficult period in my life. I understand that balances must be addressed and that a medical practice has financial responsibilities. However, the conversation felt unnecessarily stern, dismissive, and condescending. I felt as though I was being reprimanded rather than treated as an adult patient facing financial hardship.

Policies and financial obligations can be discussed while still treating patients with dignity and empathy. This is especially important in mental healthcare, where patients may already be dealing with emotional distress, financial hardship, and other serious challenges.

That experience was disappointing, but it does not overshadow the exceptional care I have received from Akilah, Dominque, and Dr. Bowling. They consistently demonstrate patience, professionalism, and compassion, and they remember that there is a person behind every appointment and conversation.

Thank you to these three individuals for the positive difference you make. Your efforts are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. A little compassion can mean everything to someone who is struggling. ♥️🙂

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS for Depression, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is an FDA-approved, breakthrough treatment for patients with depression. At APC, we deliver this non-invasive neuromodulation therapy using the Apollo TMS chair—our primary device known for its precision and patient comfort. Since 2016, we have completed more than 15,000 TMS sessions, making us one of the most experienced providers in Little Rock.

Ketamine

At APC, we offer ketamine treatment as part of a comprehensive plan for individuals struggling with depression and other mood disorders that have not responded to traditional therapies.
